Since the talk has been so much about the coronavirus I have decided to create a fun post on YouTubers strange habits since the website is a big part of many of our daily lives. There are some things that YouTubers do that is very annoying. Here is a list of the eleven most annoying things YouTubers do.
11 Most annoying things YouTubers do
- Picking their eye boogers. No one wants to watch anyone constantly pick the nasty crust out of their eyes
- Doing old challenges to get subscribers. YouTube should be called the copycat channel. Many YouTubers are doing old popular things like the Chubby Bunny challenge that has been on YouTube for over seven years to get views and subscribers.
- The old 1990s look. Why are so many YouTubers using the 1990s camcorder look or worst the black and white color look. Posting a black and white YouTube video and/or a 1990s camcorder looking video just make your video look outdated.
- Fake prank videos. Please stop it. Some YouTube couples are pranking each other everyday or every other day and racking up thousands of views. Even worse is the fact that they act like they have no idea the person who has been pranking them every day for months is doing another prank.
- Talk about editing. Too many YouTubers spend a good amount of their time talking about when they will edit and post their next video. No one wants to hear you talk about editing all day in a video. Maybe, spend a moment at the end of the video to inform your subscribers of the next video post.
- Loading videos with Gifs. Nothing is more annoying than a YouTuber loading a video with a bunch of Gifs. The Boy if you don’t Gif should be banned from all YouTube videos.
- Uploading videos with loud sounds. I don’t get why people would load their YouTube videos with loud sounds. It is annoying and hard on those watching with headphones on, but too many people are doing it.
- Adding music to travel and tourists style videos. Adding music is a terrible choice to travel, city walking or tourist videos. Many people who like watching videos of Paris or some big city we are planning to visit or vacation want to hear what it is like in the city or during a walk through of the city like the sounds of the city. So get rid of the music and do not edit out the car honking or traffic sounds.
- Using your hand to end your video and/or move to the next scene. Nothing screams small YouTuber than using your hand to cover the camera to end your video or move to the next scene. What is surprising is how many YouTubers with over 10k subscribers are still doing it.
- Constantly asking viewers to like and subscribe. There’s nothing worse than watching a YouTube video and hearing someone constantly telling you to like and subscribe to their video or YouTube channel.
- Ignoring and not replying to comments. Come on for a second, you are a YouTuber not an A list actor so you should take a moment to reply to your viewers comments when you have time to do so. If popular tech YouTuber Flossy Carter can read and reply to the comments of his 1.42 million subscribers than a YouTuber with less than 10k followers should do the same.
