Chicago’s Art and Beer Scene
A Blue Moon Samhain Bash
The wow factor was high upon catching sight of the Blue Moon Art Gallery and Healing Spa in person. I invited myself over for a tour after seeing many artists post their work from here. The gallery and healing spa are within a private residence in the Albany Park neighborhood. Owners Seven and Ella created a space that is a sight to behold, inside and out.
Outdoors, you will find exceptional murals, a stage for jam sessions, and a seating area with a fire pit. The art changes periodically on the garage walls, and artists are invited to paint boards during events.
Inside, there are personal healing rooms where massage therapists, Reiki masters, and tarot card readers offer their services. Photography prints from Seven Got Fotos decorate many of the walls. I think my favorite room is the black light therapy room, painted by local artists Graffitnerd and Boar.
Vegan food is prepared on-site through Ms. Ella’s Healing Kitchen. Menu items in the past include quiche, jack fruit BBQ, and sliders. They also serve interesting beverages like elderberry hibiscus limeade and lavender lemonade.

It’s the perfect time to learn more about Blue Moon Art Gallery and Healing Spa. Their first anniversary is coming up, and they are throwing a party to celebrate. The event will take place from 1 pm-10 pm on October 31st (see the flyer for details). If you want to attend, please direct message them for the address. It sounds like a truly enlightening experience.

My greatest passion is street art. I’m constantly pounding the pavement in search of murals with eyes wide open, so follow me on my colorful journey. View all my findings on Instagram @chiartandbeerscene.
Another passion of mine is beer. I consider myself a beer snob with a preference given to dark beer, especially stouts and barrel-aged. However, I’m always willing to try new styles because beer is life. Prost!
