Jim Oberweis: “I’m not a politician-I’m a businessman, an entrepreneur elected to a political office to help our country grow in the right ways.”
Watch Berkowitz w/IL 14th CD R Candidate Jim Oberweis, as State Sen. Oberweis (R-Sugar Grove) takes on one of the most vulnerable Democratic Party U. S. Reps. in the Country, freshman Cong. Lauren Underwood (R- Naperville, 14th CD)
The show airs this morning in Chicago at 8:31 am on Cable Ch. 19 (CAN TV) and Monday night in Aurora at 6 pm on Cable Ch. 10 (ACTV-10)
You can also watch 24/7 by clicking here the show featuring Jim Oberweis
The show also airs this Tuesday night in 25 Chicago Metro North and Northwest suburbs at 8:30 pm:
-on Cable Ch. 19 in Buffalo Grove, Elk Grove Village, Hoffman Estates, parts of Inverness, Lincolnwood, Morton Grove, Niles, Northfield, Palatine, Rolling Meadows and Wilmette and
The show covers in detail what most view as the most important issues in the 14th CD race, most other CD races around the country and the Presidential race (1) re-opening the economy & schools, (2) how the President, state governors and city mayors have handled Covid19 and the Economy- past and future and (3) crime, looting and protests.
We also cover many other important issues: taxes (including Trump tax cuts and their impact on keeping Corporate HQ and operations in the U.S), what Oberweis calls the “Pritzker-Madigan tax increase,” on the ballot in November, healthcare, law and order, BLM, Rev. Corey Brooks and his work in helping thousands on Chicago’s South side survive; George Floyd and police misconduct; China, tariffs, IP and Trade.
Also covered are Speaker Madigan’s scandals & what Oberweis says is Madigan’s significant financial help to Lauren Underwood; Antifa and the riots, voting by mail, Oberweis’ view that state & local bailouts would not be helpful to IL or the country, unemployment insurance federal supplements and Jim Oberweis’ contention that Cong. Underwood has failed to respond to inquiries about her positions on key issues.
****************
Finally, we discuss Sen. Oberweis’ effort to help Republicans turn the U. S. House red, with, for starters, the defeat of Rep. Lauren Underwood, rated by the impartial UCLA institute as the 2nd most liberal freshman C. in House, even more so than the so called “Radical squad.”
The IL 14th CD electorate is generally recognized to favor Republicans by at least six or seven points.
