There was a time when we had to market ourselves. We had to entice others with what we had to offer. We wittily listed all our qualifications and skills detailing why people should take a chance on us, whether it be for business or pleasure. We’ve used resumes and profiles to accomplish this. At some point, we have become our own brands and people know us by what we produce. Our works supersede us, and a pitch is no longer as necessary as it once was.
Tried and trusted brands speak for themselves and are no longer focused on winning you over as much as they are staying on top. Brands with a name for themselves (Brand Names) have created longevity. People return again and again to these brands based on what has already been proven. You have already produced and proven what you said you would. You are a brand. Let your name speak for itself.
