There were too many excellent individual performances to count from the Chicago Bears win in week two over the Cincinnati Bengals.
The defense, as a whole, was vibrant as they allowed just three points through three quarters and forcing a passer rating on Joe Burrow of < 70. They caused three interceptions, one touchdown, and four sacks on the day.
Justin Fields finally saw a string of drives in the second half after Andy Dalton suffered a knee injury on a scramble in the first half.
Fields had some tough moments, highlighted by an interception he threw late in the fourth quarter to set up a Tee Higgins seven-yard touchdown in the proceeding play. However, he showed flashes of excitement and talent.
Even Cairo Santos is near a benchmark of hitting 30 straight field goals, one of the longest active streaks currently in the NFL.

The Bears performed well as a team. They put up 20 points on the board, created some offense — especially on the ground — and had a defensive spectacle. The defense snapped Joe Burrow’s active streak of 200+ pass attempts without an interception.
The Chicago Bears performed well in Sunday’s home opener against the Bengals.
Even while the team petrified fans everywhere by allowing two unanswered touchdowns late in the fourth quarter and allow the Bengals to narrow the 17-point lead to three points, the team still got the win. As I mentioned beforehand, the team must recognize the performances the players had individually against an improving Bengals team.
