This week, the Chicago Bears have dug into the 2020 NFL Scouting Combine in effort to revamp the roster.
It is one of the biggest weeks in all of football. The NFL Scouting Combine is home to plenty of groundwork for owners, general managers and coaches. Not only are they scouting rookies, but Chicago Bears general manager Ryan Pace and head coach Matt Nagy are absolutely talking with other brass around the league.
This is a week which could lay the foundation for trades, cuts and plenty of other moves in the coming days.
With the way Pace and Nagy have spoke to the media this week, you better hope they’re doing plenty of chatting between themselves as well. In their opening time with the media, it appeared as though the two were disconnected a little bit, with each of them offering opposite opinions on how quarterback Mitchell Trubisky processes defenses.
Hopefully, they get their stories straight and can begin to execute a fully-developed plan for the upcoming free agency period, but most notably, the draft.
This week, the Bears have already met with several prospects from the 2020 class. The team has some glaring needs, but not every fan agrees on the severity of those needs. Most can assume the Bears are going to address the offensive line and tight end positions in a big way.

But, will they make a noteworthy move at quarterback? Whether it’s via free agency or the draft, you can rest assured Pace is going to bring in another quarterback to compete with Trubisky.
So, which players have met with the Bears already? More specifically, which ones should we be focusing on most? There’s quite a few, but I’ve narrowed the list to four in particular.
