For Bears fans, it surely doesn’t help that Adams is catching passes from Aaron Rodgers. The two-time MVP has tortured the Bears for years.

But, could the tides be shifting in Green Bay when it comes to both of their offensive superstars?

The Chicago Bears may soon see a world without Davante Adams or Aaron Rodgers in the NFC North.

Not only is Rodgers’ future in severe doubt with the Packers right now, but even Adams has started to touch on his future with the Packers.

Recently, Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Derek Carr went on record saying that he was going to pull a “full court press” next year if Adams were to hit free agency, calling him the “best receiver in the NFL.”

Carr and Adams were teammates at Fresno State and Carr has spoken highly of their long-time friendship.

The story gets more interesting, though, as Adams was asked by the same reporter, Bri Mellon of Fresno’s ABC30, about Carr’s comments.

Should Adams’ contract run out next year and he not receive a contract extension from Green Bay, it is very likely we see the last of him in a Packers uniform. What makes Adams’ potential departure even more interesting is what ends up happening with Rodgers.

The stalemate between Rodgers and the Packers has been on full display for a while now, with neither side budging.
