After losing on Monday Night Football, the Chicago Bears season is just about over.
We went into the Monday Night Football game between the Chicago Bears and Minnesota Vikings saying that it was a must-win game for the Bears. They needed it to stay afloat in the NFC playoff picture but instead, they dropped their fourth straight game. The four-game slide comes after starting the season 5-1 with a clear path to the playoffs. There was even a chance that they won the NFC North Division there for a second but they let it slip away.
Why did it slip away? Well, there are many reasons. The first, and most notably, is the offensive line. They had a few injuries and COVID-19 cases but they weren’t very good, to begin with anyway. That has the be the first thing they address this offseason. It wouldn’t even be smart to go after a new quarterback until the offensive line is dealt with.
