The Chicago Bears saw something they didn’t expect on Sunday. Andy Dalton left the game with a knee injury and forced Justin Fields to come in. Most people want to see Fields. However, nobody is rooting for anybody to get hurt to make that happen. Fields deserves to play because his development is the most important thing this season.
Luckily, it doesn’t sound like there is an ACL injury with Andy Dalton. Nobody wants to hear about him being out for the year with an injury that bad. Even if Fields is the starter we think he can be, Dalton is a very nice backup.
