The Chicago Bears have had a long horrible history when it comes to the man under center and it shouldn’t have to be that way.
The Chicago Bears have a lot of intrigue around them when it comes to next week’s free agency period. They had Mitchell Trubisky not be very good in 2019 and that cost them a playoff spot. They were 8-8, yet people talk about them like they were 4-12. If they had above-average play under center, they in all likelihood would have been in the playoffs this past season.
After watching the college football National Championship between Clemson and LSU, it made it even more apparent that they do not have to settle for bad quarterback play. Trevor Lawrence and Joe Burrow are awesome. They are going to be high picks in their draft years so the Bears might need to trade up to get a guy like that but there are also guys like Jalen Hurts and Jake Fromm that might be available when they draft.
