The Chicago Bulls seem to be on the upswing in terms of their overall future. The 76ers, however, may not be.
The NBA Bubble has provided everything basketball fans have wanted for months now. It’s been a wild ride, and the playoffs certainly have not disappointed thus far. Though the Chicago Bulls are watching from afar, they have also had an eventful time during the bubble — actually, it dates back much further than that.
Of course, the Bulls totally renovated their front office. The Arturas Karnisovas era has begun, and hope is alive. A coaching search, a new general manager and the fourth overall pick in the 2020 NBA Draft — it’s all pointing positive for Chicago.
At one point, the Bulls could have possibly followed the Philadelphia 76ers’ blueprint to success. A team can only be terrible for so long. It wasn’t until a few first overall picks led them to guys like Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid, and things started turning for the better.
Yet, those same Sixers were sent packing via the Boston Celtics over the weekend. It was a 4-0 sweep of the Sixers at the hands of Boston.
Following the game, the future of Philly instantly looked bleak after hearing from Embiid.

Whether it be Embiid or Simmons on their way out due to the lack of truly gelling as a duo, or the future of Brett Brown in question, the Sixers are due for changes. It seems like just yesterday they had a bright future between those two, along with some savvy veterans. Yet, change is coming.
With all of the questions in Philly, the Bulls may want to get involved; at least a phone call or two from Karnisovas wouldn’t hurt, right? The following blockbusters are just a few ideas the Bulls and Sixers could pull off, if they chose to engage.
