More exciting news! This year, we will be packaging our Baltic Porter for distribution across Chicagoland!
Baltic Porter: Double Decocted | 7.7% abv | 3 months lagering.
This year’s batch is tasting better than ever. Big chocolate notes combined with dark fruits pop on the nose, followed by a silky smooth, layered malt flavor of toasted bread and cacao. Polish Lubelski hops provide just the right amount of earthiness and herbs to add depth to the beer that, in spite of its initial sweetness, finishes crisp like a lager.
We are tapping this beer on Tuesday, December 14th at 4pm. Cans will hit distro that same day.

The BotW Bottle Share has returned! Bring a commercially packaged (sorry, no homebrews) limited/seasonal/out-of-market beer with you, and be ready to share it with others in exchange for samples of their limited/seasonal/out-of-market beer.
Some logistic notes:
1. Bottle shares will be held every second Monday from 6-9pm. They will be outdoors when possible and will be held at Off the Wall in the event of inclement weather.
2. If you’re planning to attend, please post what you’re bringing on the event page so we can limit duplicates and potentially build verticals/themes.
3. In the interest of time, we will only enter 1-2 beers per person in the official share. Folks are welcome to bring more but excess beers will only be opened after the formal part of the share is complete.
4. Attendees do not need a ticket to attend, though we may introduce limits later in the interest of space.
5. In the interest of organization and alcoholic liability, BotW staff will collect bottles at the start of the event and open/pour bottles in an orderly fashion. If you are overserved, BotW staff reserves the right to cut you off at any time–NO EXCEPTIONS.
6. When at all possible, please bring two beers of smaller format bottles so folks aren’t getting 0.65 oz of beer.
7. No scoffing or disrespect to other beer drinkers. Scoffers will be sent home with a 6pk of expired Hamms.

Lake Effect Perkolator Bourbon Barrel Aged Imperial Stout with Espresso has been resting in barrels all year and is ready to come out. We will be tapping this beer at Rabbits Wednesday at 6 – 10pm and we encourage all of you to come out and try the beer and meet Joe from Perkolator and myself to learn about the collaboration. We also plan to have some cans available for sale that can be brought home from the event and a few other beers too. Rabbits has food too so no need to eat before. Everything is for purchase but to attend is free! No need to RSVP but we would like to hear from you to give rabbits a sense of how to staff the evening.

Aged in Uncle Nearest barrels, Queen’s Legacy ingredients are indigenous to Africa. The beer is brewed with 100% malted millet and South African hops. The vanilla, oak, almond spice, and caramel flavors of the Uncle Nearest Premium Whiskey barrels provide an additional layer of complexity and flair, making this beer truly unique and special.
Queen’s Legacy is named in honor of Uncle Nearest’s Master Blender Victoria Eady Butler, the great-great-granddaughter of Nearest Green, recognized as Jack Daniel’s mentor and first known African American Master Distiller. “Queen” is also to pay homage to all the matriarchs that have made a positive impact in our lives.

THE 2021 VARIANTS
High West — aged once again in High West whiskey barrels, but this time in a combination of rye and bourbon, and these barrels were wet! Lots of barrel, vanilla, oak and whiskey notes and flavors to enjoy as you sip.
¡La Sorpresa! — Inspired by spicy, cinnamony Mexican hot chocolate, we load this variant with roasted cacao nibs, espresso powder, vanilla beans, toasted cassia cinnamon (sourced from our friends at Spice House), and ancho, New Mexico, and arbol chiles. A complex and unforgettably delicious beer with a picante finish! (This is the only variant we’ve produced all five years!)
Praline (NEW FOR 2021) — Caramel and pecan flavors mix with vanilla and the rich chocolate malt to create a most decadent liquid dessert.
Orange Chocolate (NEW FOR 2021) — With judicious amounts of Spice House roasted cacao nibs and dried sweet orange peel, this variant tantalizes with well-integrated notes and flavors of orange liqueur and dark chocolate.
