The Chicago Cubs sent two players to the Major League Baseball All-Star Game. Kris Bryant and Craig Kimbrel are the two lucky Cubs that went to Denver to play for the American League All-Stars. Kimbrel did his job when he was called on to pitch as he went 0.2 innings without giving up a run. However, Bryant had a game to forget.
The Chicago Cubs were very happy to have two All-Stars for the National League.
This is probably Bryant’s last game ever representing the Cubs at the midsummer classic. He is likely to make more All-Star Games in his career because he is a great player but his contract situation seems pretty messy at the moment. He didn’t perform well in what will likely be that last All-Star Game representing the Cubs.
