Chicago Valentine’s Beer Weekend, February 12-14
If weekdays have been a little sparse on events lately, perhaps it’s because places have been “saving it” for the Super Bowl and now for Valentine’s Weekend. As if that wasn’t enough, the following Tuesday is Mardi Gras/Shrove/Tuesday/Pączki Day. There are some related events to watch for. There will be a few more Valentine’s dinners added as we draw nearer to the weekend and COVID mitigations continue.
We have not had a lot of events from Back Road Brewery in LaPorte, IN. They simply have not scheduled many, except when they were among the beers being poured at NWI festivals. But now they have closed down after 24 years in business. They had opened the same year as Flossmoor Station and Three Floyds. The ownership has not given a specific reason. (NWI.com)
