Chicago Week in Beer, July 19-22
I will be on a little vacay later in the week, so my weekend listing may be a bit sparse. I will try, at least, to keep updates on my Google Calendar app if I can’t get to the article here.
The Goose Island folks are holding a contest intended to help one blissful couple searching for a wedding venue. Their Barrels of Love Contest offers one wedding reception, to be hosted at their Barrel Warehouse, 603 N Sacramento Blvd. in Chicago. The contest is now open for those 21+ and will run through Tuesday, July 27th. Anyone of legal drinking age can write in to Goose Island and tell about their love story, their connection to Chicago as a couple, and their love of beer. A panel of “Goose Island romantics” will read the stories and choose a winner. Letters should be sent by 7/27/21 to Barrels of Love, 1800 W Fulton St. Chicago, IL 60612. More details are at gooseisland.com/barrelsoflove.
