Hey Don,
Here is a recap of this past week’s fishing.
Area lakes-despite the high winds limiting time out, crappie have been very good. On sunny days, fish move up shallower out of the main basin during afternoon hours. Trigger X plastics worked under a slip float have produced the most consistent bite. Key is to slowly keep twitching the bait. Roadrunners have taken a few as well.
Here is this week’s nature pic of the week. I love watching (and listening) to Sandhills. These guys will be a welcome sight next March.
