Goldie and Junior are a pair of gentle, shy and sweet, four-year-old, male orange tabby cat brothers looking for a loving guardian.
Their human passed away in April and the boys were left alone in the apartment. There were five cats total, but these boys were very bonded.
Junior is a hunk of 10 pounds; Goldie is a chunk of 14 pounds. They get along just fine with the other felines in my home. They have excellent litter box habits. And, even though they have claws, they are incredibly gentle with them.
They let you hold them in your arms … and they purr and purr. They like to hide, but also like sunny spots on the dresser and window sills.
Goldie and Junior are healthy, neutered, vaccinated for rabies and distemper, treated with Revolution for fleas and worms. They have also tested negative for FIV/Felv viruses and are microchipped.
Their adoption fee as a pair of $250 benefits the rescued pets of Friends of Petraits Rescue including their carriers, litter box and favorite foods.
If you’re interested in meeting and possibly adopting these boys, please contact friendsofpetraits@gmail.com for an adoption application.
They are currently being fostered in Chicago’s Andersonville neighborhood.
