Junior is a gentle, shy and sweet, four-year-old, male buff/orange tabby cat looking for a loving guardian.
This 10-pound boy lost his home when his human passed away last month. He lived with his momma cat, and four siblings but they’ve currently been separated. He’d probably do fine with other cats when introduced slowly. He does growl nervously a little at new cats, but he’s not a fighter with other cats or with people. He never bites or scratches.
Junior lets me hold him in my arms and he purrs and purrs. But he also likes to hide, and he’s really good at finding new spots. Otherwise he likes to bathe in the sunlight on my window sills and seems to be getting more comfortable each day.
He has all his claws and lets me clip them. And he has perfect litter box habits.
He is healthy, neutered, vaccinated and treated with Revolution for fleas and worms. He has also tested negative for FIV/Felv and is microchipped.
Junior’s adoption fee of $150 benefits the rescued pets of Friends of Petraits Rescue.
If you’re interested in meeting and possibly adopting Junior, please contact friendsofpetraits@gmail.com for an adoption application.
He is currently being fostered in Chicago’s Andersonville neighborhood.
