Nala is a cuddly, affectionate and well-trained, four-year-old, 50-pound female fawn brindle staffordshire bull terrier with hazel eyes looking for a loving guardian.

Nala will greet you with tail wags and smiles. She’s a smart pooch who enjoys training, especially when her favorite treats are involved. A complimentary training session is included with her adoption to get you off on the right foot with your new companion.

Nala will “ask” before joining you on the couch. She responds well to basic commands like “wait”, “sit”, and “down”, and has picked up on “shake” and “wave”.

She loves to be petted and shows her trust by rolling over and letting you rub her belly.

Nala is a sensitive girl who may be shy at first meeting, but within minutes she will melt your heart with her affection and loving eyes.

Nala can be strong on leash and sometimes reactive if dogs, kids or passing bikes startle her. Her perfect adopter is one who can keep her attention during distractions and reward good behavior. When told to ”wait” in these situations, she stops and responds very well to a treat.

Nala would be best in a home with teens and adults, and possibly another companionable dog. She has not been around small animals or cats.

She is housebroken and quietly crate-trained. She loves her peanut butter-filled Kong toys and they keep her busy if you’re working from home. She is extremely healthy, spayed, microchipped, current on vaccines, heartworm-tested and on monthly preventative.
