A Bite of Chicago
Take Out Chicago Contest

Take a bite out of Chicago’s amazing restaurant landscape and win a VIP tour of a special Chicago location
With indoor dining no longer operational in the City of Chicago, due to no fault of their own, Chicago dining establishments need your help.
One way you can help is with the City’s just launched, Take Out Chicago Contest designed to provide support for our beloved restaurants.
Here’s how it works
Residents that order takeout from ten unique bars and restaurants through December 15 will be entered into a contest to win a VIP experience at one of Chicago’s premier cultural institutions.
Once you have completed ten unique orders, you can enter the contest with your name, contact information and the ten restaurants you order from at [email protected] or learn more here.
Up to ten winners will be randomly selected by Choose Chicago to receive a 90-120 minute VIP tour of a select Chicago destination. Proof of purchase will be requested when winners are selected.
The winning recipients can bring three family members to one of the select Chicago destination, including the Art Institute, DuSable Museum, Lincoln Park Zoo, Soldier Field and others.
Residents participating in the contest can post their orders on social media using the hashtag #takeoutchicago.

BARBARA REVSINE
I started writing when I was in grade school. And when I wasn’t writing or thinking about writing, I was reading what someone else had written. So it wasn’t a stretch for me to think about writing as a career. Neither was it a stretch to think about writing about food, a subject I’d always found interesting, more in terms of history, cooking, restaurants and culture than eating and critiquing. Decades after selling my first story, my interest in writing about food continues, and “A Bite of Chicago” gives me another opportunity to pursue my passion with people who share it.
