They’re pissed because rubes and hicks garroted their signature Big Back Better fiasco.

Sure, they have spit their venom at West Virginia senator Joe Manchin for betraying their dreamy, stupid Build Back Better Act.

But what riles them more is that Manchin’s West Virginians bested the progressive snobs who consider themselves intellectually and morally superior to those mountain dregs.

Whoa. She issued a pathetic apology to the “good people of WVA”, but still called Manchin and his family a “criminal enterprise”

Manchin, according to the Democratic script, has betrayed his party by voting–gasp–what he conscience and constituents demand. One political science professor lamented how “one person” can stymie legislation and the challenge that represents to democracy. Of course, what she ignored was that it wasn’t one senator, it was 51 senators who did it.

Most of them, I’d rub it in, are from Fly-Over Country and the South.
