Ten homes closed for over $5,000,000 in the North Shore in 2021. Two were in Kenilworth, two in Glencoe, and six in Winnetka. Some of these homes sold in days, several were on for many years.

In 2013, the most expensive house sold in Winnetka for $12,700,000 (as we were coming out of the recession.) Pre-recession, another Winnetka house sold in 2000 for $12,000,000.

In our Northern Illinois Multiple Listing Service area, two properties sold for higher than 233 Sheridan. One was a home on Burling in Chicago that sold for $12,550,000 and a penthouse condo at 840 N. Lake Shore in Chicago that closed for $12,250,000.
