Coachella might have been pushed back this year to October 9 – 18 in light of the pandemic, but we don’t have to wait that long to get a taste of what it’s like to be there. Coachella’s premiere documentary Coachella: 20 Years in the Desert premieres today, April 10th, on YouTube at 2 pm CST.

Featuring the enthralling two decades of Coachella’s legacy, viewers can witness legendary past performances and behind-the-scenes interviews for the first time in the feature-length Coachella: 20 Years in the Desert. Catch never-before-seen footage of Coachella’s rise to becoming the world’s greatest music festival.

The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival is held annually at the 78-acre Empire Polo Club in Indio, California, in the Coachella Valley of Southern California. Coachella brings together renowned artists across all genres of the music spectrum, uniting fans throughout the world.

The documentary features a first-look at how organizers brought together the biggest names in music across all genres. Legendary lineups year-after-year included Billie Eilish, Kanye West, Travis Scott, Rage Against The Machine, Swedish House Mafia, Madonna, Radiohead, and Beck, to name a few.

Coachella: 20 Years in the Desert is produced and directed by Chris Perkel, and executive produced by Raymond Leon Roker and Paul Tollett.
