Have you ever read something so outrageous that the first thing that pops into your head is why would someone say that? At that same time, you’re either thinking or screaming very loud to yourself “Shut the fuck up!”…more likely both. Over the last few days, there have been so many instances of this that my brain is on overload.
Let’s start with known conspiracist Robert F. Kennedy Jr. I know most of us are still trying to figure out how he became this way coming from the family that he does, but while we ponder that, he slipped this goodie into the atmosphere at an anti-vaccine rally:
“Even in Hitler Germany [sic], you [could] cross the Alps into Switzerland. You could hide in an attic, like Anne Frank did.”
It’s always a good look to compare anything to the holocaust. Hey Bobby Jr… we loved your dad, but you should STFU!!
Continuing on the vaccine theme…Wisconsin Senator Ron Johnson had a vaccine forum over the weekend. He brought in experts to tell us why vaccinations are dangerous. Let’s hear from one of his expert physicians:
“The vaccine is fake, it’s a clot shot and needle rape.”
Such lovely words from a medical professional and a supposed expert on the subject. Dude…STFU!!
Next, we hear from all-time basketball great John Stockton. Gonzaga’s greatest sports alum had his season tickets revoked because he wouldn’t wear a mask to the games. Then he doubled down about vaccines. Let’s hear what John had to say:
“I think it’s highly recorded now, there’s 150 I believe now, it’s over 100 professional athletes dead — professional athletes, the prime of their life, dropping dead that are vaccinated, right on the pitch, right on the field, right on the court.”
Hey John, do us all a favor and just dribble….oh yeah, and STFU!!
Finally, there’s noted medical and vaccination expert Eric Clapton. We’ve heard from him multiple times on this subject over the last year. Maybe he thought we hadn’t noticed because he had a little more to opine. Go for it, Slowhand:
“Mass formation hypnosis.”
I have to admit I have no idea what the Hell this means. I’m pretty sure Eric doesn’t know either. At least he was succinct in his statement. Three little words. Hey Eric, pretend this is one of your concerts where you don’t say anything to the audience except thank you…and STFU!!
Well, there you have it. I’m sure there are plenty more examples of this. Don’t get me started on Novak, but he’s old news now. To paraphrase what Joe Biden told Peter Doocy…what a stupid bunch of son of a bitches. Joe apologized; the other guys, not a word. The world is better off with their silence.
